Terms of Service

Acceptance

By creating an account or using Korrella, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company or channel, you confirm you are authorized to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Korrella provides Nollywood-tuned localization: subtitling, hybrid AI and human dubbing with consent-licensed voices, and delivery of the finished work to streaming platforms and YouTube. Features, tiers, and supported languages may change as the product develops. A free first film, where offered, is a pilot at our discretion.

Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for the activity under it. Tell us promptly at hello@korrella.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

Your content and rights

You keep ownership of your films and of the deliverables we produce for you. We claim no ownership of your content.

To do the work, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and adapt your content, and to run it through the AI and human steps of the pipeline, solely to produce and deliver your localization. This license ends when we no longer need it for that purpose, subject to the records described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you own or have the rights to the film you bring us, and that you are authorized to have it translated, dubbed, and delivered to the platforms you nominate. You are responsible for the underlying rights in your content.

Voice licensing and consent

Voice is treated as identity. Every voice used in a Korrella dub falls into one of two categories, and both are governed by consent:

• Licensed voices. A voice model is created only where the voice owner has given explicit, scoped consent. Consent, changes, and withdrawals are recorded in an append-only audit trail visible to the owner. A voice owner may withdraw consent and request deletion of their model, after which we stop new deployments.
• Generic voices. Where you use a generic, non-cloned voice, no individual’s identity is involved.

You may not ask us to clone or imitate any real person’s voice without that person’s consent captured through Korrella. Where a licensed voice earns a royalty, that royalty is owed to the voice owner on the terms of their license, and we account for it through their portal. Voices are never scraped and never resold.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Korrella to:

• upload content you do not have the rights to localize, or that infringes anyone’s rights;
• clone or imitate a voice without the owner’s consent;
• produce unlawful, defamatory, or deceptive content, including impersonation;
• re-upload or misappropriate someone else’s film or channel;
• break the law, or the rules of the platforms you deliver to;
• probe, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service, or work around its security.

We may suspend or remove content or accounts that breach these rules.

Fees and payment

A pilot film, where we offer one, is free. Beyond that, pricing is per film or by subscription, as quoted to you. Platform and voice contracts are priced in USD; producer-side billing can be arranged in local currency. Fees are due as stated on your plan or invoice and, unless the law requires otherwise, are non-refundable once work has been delivered. We may change pricing on notice, and changes do not affect work already ordered.

Deliverables and platform delivery

We deliver finished subtitle files and dubbed audio to you, and, where you ask, help you place them on the platforms you choose. For YouTube multi-language audio, we hand you the finished track and you upload it under your own account; we do not need and do not take your login. You are responsible for your relationship with, and the rules of, the platforms you publish to.

Intellectual property

Korrella, its software, models, pipeline, and brand are ours and our licensors’, and nothing here transfers them to you. You keep your films and the deliverables we produce for you. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the service without obligation to you.

Confidentiality

Each side will protect the other’s non-public information. We treat your unreleased content as confidential and handle it with the security measures described in our Privacy Policy, including encryption and, where appropriate, forensic watermarking.

Disclaimers

Korrella is provided “as is”. Localization blends AI and human judgment, and while we work hard on quality, we do not warrant that a translation, adaptation, or dub will be error-free or fit every purpose, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You are responsible for reviewing and approving deliverables before you publish them.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Korrella against claims arising from your content, your use of the service in breach of these terms, or your lack of rights or consents in the material you bring us, including a claim that a film you uploaded, or a voice you asked us to use, infringed someone’s rights.

Termination

You can stop using Korrella at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or to protect the service or others. On termination we will, on request and within a reasonable period, return or delete your content, subject to records we must keep. Terms that by their nature should survive, including ownership, confidentiality, disclaimers, liability, and indemnity, survive termination.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the courts of Lagos, unless a mandatory law that applies to you says otherwise. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product and the law evolve. When we make a material change we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you directly. Continuing to use Korrella after a change means you accept the updated terms.
